Estate agents Humberts has appointed Begbies Traynor to handle its administration.
The group announced its administration in a statement located at the very bottom of its website on 10 December 2019.
In the statement it named Paul Stanley and Paul Barber as joint administrators of the company. Humberts added: “The joint administrators contract only as agents of the company and without personal liability.”
In its latest accounts filed with Companies House for the period ended 31 December 2018, the estate agents reported a bank overdraft of £283,105 and had debts totalling £970,773 to be paid in 2020.

Humberts was originally founded in 1842.
