Haart has announced the launch of a new portal to support buyers and sellers during the nationwide lockdown.
Off Market enables those selling their property to virtually meet both their agent and potential buyer without a need to leave their own house.
The agency said the programme uses “unique” social media technology, entitled FLINK, to create an Off Market ad for the seller’s home. The technology will use data from providers such as Google and Facebook to find potential interested buyers for the property.
Haart said it is the only available technology that can “tap into those buyers who aren’t yet registered with an estate agent or searching on property portals”.
Those selling their property are asked to help prepare its valuation through uploading photographs and a quick video onto the Off Market portal. Haart will then send a link to a Zoom conversation so that the sale can be discussed in further detail.
Sellers will then be asked to give Haart agents a guided tour around the home, and after further discussions will be sent a paperless contract to complete necessary ID checks through the Off Market portal.
Following all necessary checks, a FLINK ad for the property will then go live across social media platforms. Accompanied viewings can then be arranged online via Zoom.
Haart added that both physical viewings with interested buyers and the “tie up” of final offers will all take place after the nationwide lockdown.
Haart said: “Still think it’s impossible to start your move during lockdown? Other agents may think so, but Off Market from Haart gives you a safe way to get started.
“Off Market uses leading technology to get you moved safely and effectively during these difficult times. We work behind the scenes to find your buyer, so when you’re ready to move there’s nothing holding you back.”
