Carlisle-based H&H Land and Estates has announced the appointment of Leanne Graves as its new graduate surveyor.
Graves joins H&H to further her surveying career, which started out at Dalcour Maclaren, where she worked for five years on major infrastructure projects such as the National Grid North West Connection Project and the Orsted Hornsea Offshore Windfarm Project Four.
She is now also working towards her professional chartered surveying qualifications and full membership of RICS and CAAV.
Graves said she is “thrilled” to join the team as a graduate surveyor.
She said: “To further my career and whilst working in parallel on my RICS qualification, I was very keen to move into rural surveying so H&H Land & Estates was the ideal choice. I have gained a great deal of commercial experience in my previous role in the utility sector, but I am looking forward to bringing my career and agricultural background together.”
Thomas Armstrong, director and chartered surveyor for H&H Land & Estates said: “We are pleased to welcome Leanne and support her to further her career with H&H Land and Estates.
“As a business, we are very focused on supporting the next generation of rural surveyors, and Leanne’s enthusiasm for all things rural will be a valuable addition to the team. We look forward to seeing Leanne grow into her role, gaining a wide range of experience so that she can choose her preferred specialist area, and completing her qualifications to become a fully-fledged Chartered Surveyor.”
H&H has eight offices across the UK, which include two in Carlisle, alongside Penrith, Keswick, Kendal, Grange-over-Sands, Durham and Cockermouth.
